Keyboard shortcuts not working

I set my keyboard shortcuts under the Personal menu. The volume up/down/mute where working ok. Then Rythmbox crashed and I noticed there is only a microphone in the volume control app. I ran Soundcard Detection which fixed Rythmbox but the shortcut keys still don't work. I'm stuck at this point.

Also, My media controls don't work with Rythmbox or Juk. Is there an app that plays mp3 files that the media controls do work with?

Thanks

Personally I use Exaile and my keyboard shortcuts work fine with it. If I remember correctly my keyboard shortcuts worked well with gmpc as well. I use a M$ natural pro and have never had any problems. As far as juk or kde I could never get them working.

Here is Eaile's website if you would like to take a look

Where you know Exaile, which plugin do I install to be able to play website radio stations? Once installed do I just click on any "listen now" link?

That is a matter of firefox plugins, it really has little to do with playing media on your local system. Personally, I use the mplayer plugin.
Code:
yum install mplayerplug-in
If you are using a x86_64 system, then you need to take a look at this post.
