Hello:
This forum owes you nothing

It is for users helping users and that's it ...

If you are that disappointed, then search elsewhere.

I suspect that would be a very good idea.

Guys just like to say i'm sure there's lots of people that put ALOT of effort in Fedora. The linux spirit is very cool.

I probably should of just said i'm disappointed that linux wasn't easier for users/noobs like myself. Apparently, that's what holds linux back from the mainstream.

Anyhow, i think i might just get the Redhat OS when i get back to work in 3 more days. I have one questin about Redhat - the OS has 7 years of updates, do i still get those when my one year of support is over?

Nothing worst then people no respecting and/or appreciating people's efforts.

I think Redhat would be the best place to check those details.

These folks should be able to get you started. https://www.redhat.com/apps/webform....t_sales&eid=21

Just a quick 'back on topic': If you're using yum, you can always try "yum install libXxf86dga.so.1" or "yum search libXxf86dga.so.1" and see if you get a quick response. In this case, no go! However, the second option is to go to http://rpm.pbone.net/ and use the Advanced Search to select your distribution and version and then plug in the lib. Surprise! There's entries for Fedora8! Now, if there hadn't been entries there, it's always possible to use Google to search for the lib and see what turns up - might be one that slipped by or someone who's worked out the problem.

As to members being on call for a response in a few minutes or a couple of hours...might happen immediately, might never hear back if they're too busy, offline, no clue, whatever. While you're waiting, why not check over all the unanswered posts YOU find in the Forum and see how may other people YOU can help. This is about sharing knowledge and giving as well as getting. Others will appreciate your efforts, even if they don't always solve the problem.

Hello:
Okay, I'm not a gamer, but I took the time to download the game and got it up and running.
It's not that straight forward, but if you want some help, post back and I will help you out.

Please start with posting the output of starting the game with

./crx.sdl

and if you are using 32 or 64bit Fedora

Seve

Hello:
Well ..... beer is good

Open a terminal and log in as root
su -
yum install libXxf86dga-devel libXxf86dga.i386

When it's finished, try starting the game again (using the same command)
and post the output

Am I to assume that you are using Fedora 32bit ?
