fed8 hangs at "running /sbin/loader"

can somebody help me here?
i have a toshiba A200 laptop. it was preinstalled with vista home premium. i decided to dual boot fedora 6 and i manage to successfully install it and used it without any hassle at all. recently, i downloaded fed8 (DVD) in redhat site. i then decided to upgrade my fed6 to fed8 and it was a success. one time, i need to reformat my hdd using the toshiba rescue disk. this time i tried dual boot fed8 with vista home premium. i failed doing it. my computer always hang up when it's running the /sbin/loader. i was disappointed that i cant install fed8 so i decided to install fed6 again. there was no problem. so i thought i need to install fed6 first and then upgrade later to fed8. i tried it but the same problem "running /sbin/loader" hangs up.

can somebody give me a hand on this? I really need to have fed8 working on my laptop.

Lots of people had this problem hence there are a lot of hits on the forum if you search for '/sbin/loader'

One that contains most of the common options though is here:

You'll need to experiment and see which of the suggestions works for your machine.
