How to edit default file handling? Totem is bugging me!
Whenever I insert a dvd for playing Totem starts up with that annoying message, something about "can't play this". Now, I admit I'm a console junkie, I want to use mplayer and I don't know how to change the default gui system file handling behaviour. I've looked in Nautilus and in the system menus and can't find a way to do that. I'm using Gnome with fc8. Thanks ahead of time.

System > Preferences > Personal > Preferred Applications. Maybe better would be System > Preferences > Hardware > Removable Drives and Media

It's a time zone thing Wayne. You're in Japan and I'm in the twilight zone

ahhh...
Thanks, guys. Amazing how much faster replies are here versus LinuxQuestions.org.
P.S.: Glennzo, I can relate, it seems like I'm ALWAYS in the twilight zone.
