Trying to get multimedia keys working in XMMS...

I am running Fedora 8 and I am having a bit of trouble. I am trying to get multimedia keys to work in XMMS and not having much luck. I have configured the keys in Keyboard Shortcuts, I have installed xmms-acme, and I have enabled said plugin inside of XMMS. Yet the mutlimedia keys still don't want to work. Checking the mappings in Keyboard Shortcuts, they are standard XF86 keys. I am using a Dell SK-8125 keyboard; just their regular multimedia keyboard. I have it connected via USB to my Dell 700m notebook. The Volume Mute, Volume Up, and Volume Down keys do, in fact, work; though they affect the master volume, not the volume in XMMS. This I'm fine with; I just want to be able to us the play/pause, stop, next track, and previous track keys.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
