Samsung Q45 - udev / acpi problem

Hi,

I freshly installed Fedora 8 on my laptop and it is working fine except that udev hangs at system boot. I can only boot the system with acpi=off. I tried to blacklist several modules with no success. The udev package has the latest version. I don't even know how to trace down the failure, because I found nothing in the logs. I'm completely helpless. Here some info:

Hi pfiers,

I have also been experiancing the same problem. OpenSuSE seems to work fine however.
