Is there a difference between the dvd installer and the live cd installer?

If there is a difference between the dvd installer and live cd installer please say below!

yes, the live cd will let you try out Fedora without having to install anything to your harddrive...the installer cd will only let you do an installation. i think the liveCD is missing some packages too...if you install from a liveCD i think it's assumed you'll be downloading and install those packages from the repos...
