Sound card recomendations please

I want to buy a sound card in th $100,$150 range but am finding it hard to find one that positivly supports both XP SP2 and Linux. Recomendations please.

Stay away from Creative X-Fi soundcards, they don't have 32bit drivers for linux and the 64bit ones are beta.

Ya,I noticed that at their web site. The only card I've found so far is the Diamond Monster Sound MX300 but the price is $300.
