It's a very good idea to have at least 2 kernels installed, just in case the newest one does not work for you, therefore you can boot to the earlier one.
The next kernel update will remove the oldest one and so on.
The kernels do not take up much space, all things considered, so no it is not wasting disk space.

After I have installed latest Fedora update yesterday, my madwifi driver is not working. If I switch to previous version, everything is fine. Is it real to save my working image so it won't be deleted after the next update?
P.S.: If I delete madwifi driver from the newest image it will be deleted from the old?
