Vmware Tools and FC8 Problems

Hi

I have installed FC8 and fully updated it

My uname -r gives kernel 2.6.24.4-64.fc8

I installed latest VMwareTools-6.0.3-80004.i386.rpm

Then ran vmware-config-tools.pl

It gives me the following problems

1) My Network Manager now shows no network ( x under the network symbol on top panel ). Although eth0 exists and internet is working fine

2) while compilation it gave me the following error

So file sharing is also not working..

3) Mouse scroll doesnt work as well

I am a total newbie. Please help me fix these problems. Especially 1 and 2

Unfortunately i got the same problem on Fedora Core 9. I will try to find a solution.
