Mode Not Supported

Trying to install fedora 9 the install goes fine but as soon as it completes and attempts to load the main screen it just says "MODE NOT SUPPORTED" H : 92.7KHZ V : 58.3HZ

i guess the refresh rate needs to be changed but i have hunted high and low and am still totally in the dark about how i change this.....please note anybody who replies with how to change it, please image you are talking to a complete noobie idiot thanks all

Maybe a bit more information might help, like video card and screen... As F9 has only just been released our psychic powers are stretched to the limit

Oh, welcome to the forum...

"The ninth release of Fedora ushers in a number of changes aimed at making the venerable distribution a more newbie-friendly desktop".........................

How on earth does anyone who creates these releases actually ever expect anyone who is not totally clued up on linux to ever be able to use them effectively i cannot even get a desktop and it would appear that nobody knows how to cure this problem for god sake its just a refresh rate...windows may suck but this sucks more !!!!!
