network detection issue

afternoon

I have a vm with f9 on it which I upgraded from f8. All seemed fine until I made a copy of the vm and booted and now the network does not work. I have searched the net and all I seem to find is remove the settings from system-config-network and also in hwconf. Shutdown and remove the card from the config and boot up. Shut down and then re add the card and it will be detected but it has not. The sites also mention kudzu but I cant find this on f9. Can any one help with this.

Thanks

Lee
