Reporting "non Bug Buddy" crashes from Fedora 9

Hi,

Alert - not very technical user

Sometime ago I set up Bug Buddy and it has usefully trapped crashes and sent off the trace information to the relevant site for analysis.

I am getting crashes now and again on a Fedora 9 system. Two recent crashes were in

Gecko
VueScan

and the trace files are being saved but not sent anywhere.

Can I forward these files? Do I register with and post traces on http://bugzilla.gnome.org/ - or on some other site?

I vaguely remember having to install some extra rpms and libraries for products I want the traces written for - but I have forgotten which rpms. Can someone point me at the correct instructions so I am trapping the correct information?

Thanks

Clive

You can register and file bug reports for Fedora here:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/

OK

I have done this for gecko - but not VueScan (as it isn't a Fedora package)

I will email the Vuescan trace file direct to Hamrick / Vuescan.

Thanks

Clive
