Fedora 6 don't recognize lg dvd ram

Hi everyone ,thereis a problem i can't solve it
I have LG dvd ram and after booting when i press enter and choosing the language and keyboard give me a message that fedora can't find media drive and give me a list and
I searched for my driver and never found it.
what should I do, please ??

Sounds like you are trying to install Fedora 6.

Fedora 7 and older are end-of-lifed. No patches or support.

Fedora 8 and 9 are the most recent supported versions.

I suggest you switch to Fedora 8 or 9 for your install.

Another option, just for fun, is to burn a Damn Small Linux CD and see if that boots okay.

Thanks, but the problem that I cann't download becase my internet speed is very slow
and because of that I post here hopeful that I will found solve for my problem.

Look into vmware-server of you want guest OSes run from host Windows.
