Date Clock Weather panel frozen

In F9, after I clicked the top right date/time panel and added a location - which then brings up the weather for that location - the panel froze. Now, on startup the clock and date and weather are correct until I click the panel. This should bring up a mini calendar (which, I think, is linked to Evolution) and the option to add more locations. Instead, the panel freezes and stops keeping time. Nothing else freezes and I can continue using F9 as usual.

Any ideas on this one? I have restarted several times and always get the same problem.
