Fedora compatible PCI wireless network cards

Hey, I am trying to get a wireless network going with a fedora core2 install and I am having a hell of a time finding a wireless nic that works with linux. Anyone have any success stories? I have read a lot about it and the only thing I know is that the has hardly been any scientific collecting of data on what works. So can anyone point me in the right direction?

Have you looked at a hardware compatibility list yet? You're not the only one with this question.

Have you thought about using a Wireless bridge unit? I've used a Linksys Wireless Bridge and it's worked great. It just needs a cat5 cable and connects to an existing standard network card.
