F10: Installation hangs on Lenovo T61

I tried now several times to install FC 10 on an Lenovo T61 but i can't get it working. It shows the splash screen, where i can select install or upgrade... etc.
After selecting the install option i see Loading vmlinuz... Loading initrd.img ...ready.
Than nothing happens
I tried several options like vesa nomodeset, xdriver=vesa, acpi=off, nousb, text ... but it always hangs in the screen mentioned above.
Any ideas to fix it?

solution was pretty simple.... you need an internal hdd to run the setup. A plugged usb hd is not sufficient to start the installation
