Question Get a Blank/Black Screen when i SUSPEND

It's simple and bothersome: when i click "shutdown..." from the menu in the top panel, then click "suspend", my screen fades and turns black (I'm almost certain that the screen is still on, but just black).

AND IT STAYS BLACK....

I had read other forums in which other people had the same problem and suggested that the SWAP size be increased to more than what your RAM is.

I have 2GB RAM and i have increased my SWAP to 3GB.

Any ideas what I should do? I'm using a laptop too (if that helps...not sure it will help tho).

Thanks
