Hi all this is my first post and I am also a newby to Linux/Fedora.
I just installed Fedora 10 KDE which I love but there are two things bugging me.
When I switch the computer on I get three lines of white text on a black background saying something has failed but then the system boots fine.
Also and most annoying, when I switch the computer off the screen flickers madly and sometimes I have to turn the power off to switch it off.
Any ideas on the cause and how to resolve?
I have a Compaq Presario CQ60 with Intel graphics card.
