Sound works fine, but not on Youtube videos

Hello, all, hope someone can help me here. I have a Creative Labs Soundblaster PCI card, and all the sounds, including the system beep, startup sound, VLC player, XMMS works fine. But when I go to Youtube, I can see the flash video, but cannot hear any sound at all. Tried everything I can think of, downloaded pulseaudio alsa plug ins, and searched through the forums, but still can't fix it. HELP!

No sound at any flash site, and I have tried more than a few. I have the latest Flash 10 from the Adobe website, tried erasing it and reinstalling, but still the same result as before. What do you mean by youtube player? Do you mean mplayer plugin, (hate it) or Totem plugin, or VLC plugin? I have VLC plug in, but not the others. And the sound is turned up at youtube site, first thing I checked.

What he meant by YouTube player is the little flash applet that plays YouTube videos. This is in contrast to the Break player which plays videos from Break.com, or the Pandora player which plays music from Pandora.com, or the Yahoo player which plays yahoo music videos. All of them are built with Flash. Since you have no sound with Flash at any website, that means it is a problem with your flash player.

Did you go to the Adobe website to get Flash, or did you get it from the repositories like this site explains: http://www.fedorafaq.org/#flash ? The second method by FedoraFAQ is the method I used and it works great for me, try that if you haven't.

Hey, thanks a bunch. Got it working good now. I sure love this new Fedora, fast as can be, and stable as a rock.
