Flash Player problem

I logged onto YouTube but when I tried to watch anything a popup said I needed Adobe Flashplayer. I downloaded it and was then told it was already installed. Went back to You Tube and it told me to download Flashplayer again!

Does anyone know what's wrong?

Thanks,

Dave.

Hello!

I had the same problem. Try using the package manager gui (Add/remove software), and search for "flash". There should be an option called something like "Flash player plugin for Seamonkey, Flashplayer...". This was not installed for me even though I had done the same installation you did. When I added that it worked (I even had the problem with youtube aswell before).

Best regards,

David

Thanks,

I just got it sorted. Should have looked a bit harder before I posted
Although the system said it was already installed I had a feeling that it wasn't. So I did a forum search and found a reference to a Yum install. Tried it and it worked. I do like Yum.

Thanks anyway for the reply.
