xorg lock up

Anyone know how to change runlevels or get to a prompt during boot?
My xorg.conf is messed up and it causes Fedora to lock up trying to start X.
I have the plymouth boot going and it won't let me doing anything.

Nevermind, I got it.
I had to press escape since the grub menu was hidden.
Then edit the kernel line adding 'single' to the end of it for single user mode.
The select it et voila!
sorry
