Linpus linux as used by acer aspire one

Good day all, first post and I'm not sure that I have posted in the correct forum. If I haven't sorry.

I have an acer aspire one with linpus linux. I'm led to believe that it is based on a fedora core. I'm having a few problems with the wireless card, atheros ar5006eg, and was wondering if anyone knew a decent linpus forum. Or would it be good to ask here.
thank you all

There is the Aspire One forum. However, that card is a standard AR5007EG (as a rule--older versions of Linux see it as an AR5006, though).

It's usually pretty straightforward. I vaguely remember with the AA1 that some folks were having problems until they updated.

The Aspire One forums are possibly the best place to check.

Hello

Am a member of that forum, and have posted there too. But not had any replies so thought I'd try here.

Ah, I see. Hrrm, about the only thing I can think of is that if you've played with your default Linpus desktop at all, you might have somehow done something with the startup scripts. Like Windows and Fedora, Linpus ties many things to the GUI.

Does the card show as existing and able to scan? That is if you do

sudo iwlist ath0 scan

Do you get anything back?
