Hey, well you are right, I thought that google would put more work into it and not use the wine components. Now that I see it there is really no reason to use, it is just better to start windows and do it there haha.

I use Picasa a lot for my work, and until your reply I didn't know that we could use Digikam to synchronize our image folders with our web albums.
Installed it, tested it, love it!

I'm not sure because I haven't really used Picasa on Linux but DigiKam has so many export options I'm sometimes lost!

I also switched to digikam after getting picasa to work, like it much much more. If you came to this thread because you're stumped about how to get picasa to work, take a break from troubleshooting and give this sucker a try
