Fedora 10 Weird suspension problem on Lenovo T61

I've been encountering a very weird suspension problem on my T61 with Fedora 10 installed. After I put it to sleep by Fn+F4, I have to wake it up three times before it really 'wakes up'. For the first two times, the computer seems to be waking up and the login screen flash for a fraction of a second. Before anyone can react, the system goes to sleep again and I have to wake it up for another 2 times and eventually it will work. This doesn't happen if the computer is put to sleep for a very long period of time (say 10 hours). Anyone experienced the same problem? Thanks.

I have a T61 as well and have seen nothing like this. Stock F10 install.

(I have a different problem: I can suspend and resume once and everything works. But if I suspend and resume once more, the wireless networking stops working. In the past I think I've managed to get it to work again with removing and reloading the kernel wifi drivers, but I don't feel like futzing around with that stuff anymore. I've had similar problems for the past few Fedora releases, but they've gotten fixed with various kernel updates after a bit.)

How are you activating suspend? By pressing Fn-F4 or by using gnome-power-manager?

I have seen problems occur when pressing Fn-F4 similar like what you describe with F10 when I had problems with my HAL keyboard mapping files, which caused the system to resume and immediately suspend again a second time. But after that it came back.
selecting suspend in gnome-power-manager would work just fine.

Also make sure your running the latest BIOS update, as this could be an ACPI issue.
