ax25 rpmbuild -bb fails in libtool

I have the source rpms for ax25-tools and ax25-apps originally from fc9 repository somewhere and
they built fine on fc10.

The ax25-tools built ok for fc11 but the ax25-apps failed.

here is a sample of the error message of which there were a lot and so I copied just the last of many

../libtool: line 5161: : you must specify a MODE: command not found
../libtool: line 5162: Try ` --help' for more information.: command not found
../libtool: line 503: X--mode=link: command not found
../libtool: line 1585: X-DUSE_TERMIO: command not found
../libtool: line 1676: Xax25ipd: command not found

thanks for any suggestions as to what may be needed to correct the error

I thought there might be a missing dependency problem but the errors seem to be the same
added soundtouch-devel and openjpeg-devel

gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -DAX25_SYSCONFDIR=\""/etc/ax25"\" -DAX25_LOCALSTATEDIR=\""/var/ax25"\" -DUSE_TERMIO -c routing.c
/bin/sh ../libtool --mode=link gcc -DUSE_TERMIO -o ax25ipd config.o crc.o io.o kiss.o ax25ipd.o process.o routing.o -lax25
../libtool: fork: retry: Resource temporarily unavailable
../libtool: fork: retry: Resource temporarily unavailable
../libtool: fork: retry: Resource temporarily unavailable
../libtool: fork: retry: Resource temporarily unavailable
../libtool: fork: Resource temporarily unavailable
../libtool: line 636: : warning: cannot infer operation mode without MODE-ARGS: command not found

Hello-

I'm assuming that you have a need to compile from src.rpm to add some missing functionality (?) rather than just yum installing the binary rpm packages for both ax25-tools and ax25-apps. Checking on koji, both packages are built for F11, though I didn't check on the F11 repository itself.

For the F11 ax25-apps SRPM, the Requires are:
Quote:
Requires
autoconf
automake14
libax25-devel
libtool
ncurses-devel
rpmlib(CompressedFileNames) <= 3.0.4-1
rpmlib(FileDigests) <= 4.6.0-1
Do you have all of those installed?
