aMSN: Unable to initiate File Send

I am currently using amsn-0.93-1.1 from Dag repository. My firewall is turned off. When I send out a file to anyone on amsn, after the user accepts, nothing happens. However I am able to receive files from them. To check if File Sending works, I sent out a file to my friend using Xchat's DCC. Works fine. I subsequently tried sending file to the same user on amsn and now it works! Weird!

Any amsn users encountered this problem before? Any ideas why this happens as such? I am on a router and I previously did not encounter any file sending issues with the same version and previous versions. My kernel is 2.6.8-1.521. If you guys need anymore details, fill me in. Thanks in advance!
