F11 multi monitor odd behavior ( nvidia tri monitor )

Hi all, i've the following odd problem:

Separate desktop ( should be idiot proof ... ):
Usually the application windows should open in the same screen where they are launched, in F11 opens always in the main screen (the monitor in the centre is screen0), so the additional monitors are useless (of course no way to move the windows away from the main monitor, it's a separate desktop ...)

One big desktop (xinerama)
Windows and popup messages appears randomly everywhere, usually should appear in the middle of the desktop (that's why the tri-monitor setup) or in the main screen only, no way to let appear events in the screen0 only. BTW, the top and bottom bars are correctly visualized in screen0 only.

Any hint? in Centos5 and FC8 everything worked as expected ...

same behavior with both 185 and 180 nvidia drivers, so i suspect some xorg issue ...

It's been a long time since I messed with it, and that was in Ubuntu, but I believe you have to edit the xorg file as root.

I have exactly the same issue.

If you found a fix could you publish it.

If not I strongly suspect that it is more than just two of us with this problem; could someone help please?
