Krusader is slow when browsing mounted samba shares

Hi, I'm using Fedora 11 with KDE and use krusader as file browser.
When browsing files and directories on my local computer it's fast enough, but I have several samba shares mounted to my computer.

When I browse them with krusader (a mounted directory) it's very slow.
I guess there is some sort of cache/pre-check or something happening in Krusader and when it's a very big share with lots of files it takes a while.

I had the same problem with Fedora 10 and also with Fedora 9 (I think) but in Fedora 8 there was no such problem.

I have looked checked all krusader settings but I cannot find anything related to my problem.

Does anyone of you also have this problem and solved it?

Next step is to turn on some debugging ..

Regards
Tomas

Hi again, I just solved the problem.

In the settings under "Look & Feel" choose the Panel tab.
Uncheck the "Load the user defined folder icon"

After doing this krusader is much faster :-)
