hardware, software or settings?

Hi everyone,

I installed F11 and got kernel 2.6.29.4-167.fc11.x86_64

I keep running into errors. I have a RAID 5 (software) running and after most crashes it needs to resync (about 6 hours process in which time my system is slower).

The latest kernel error I have been getting since trying to troubleshoot and booted acpi=off:
Code:
Kernel failure message 1:
general protection fault: 0000 [#1] SMP
last sysfs file: /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:06.0/0000:02:00.0/irq
