F11 and Macbook Aluminum Trackpad
I have F11 installed on a Macbook aluminum (5,1). So far, pretty good. My touchpad has a small problem though. I can't click and drag. That means I cannot click on the title bar of any window and drag it to a new spot. I can't drag and drop files. I can't click and drag to select text...
Movement works, finger scrolling works, double finger tap right click works... just that.
I have not done anything special for the trackpad other than install all updates to F11. Any ideas how to get the click and drag to work?

@jbhardman - can you confirm what does/doesn't work on your MacBook? I tried F11 a while ago and had limited success. I went with Ubuntu 9.04 due to the level of documentation available on the Ubuntu wiki.
Also, is your MacBook one of the original 5.1 models or is it one of the newer rebranded MacBook Pros with the 7-hour battery?

I have the late 2008 MBP and Fedora 11 (finally!) works incredibly well. It still took some work, but the Fedora touchpad drivers blow away the fix Ubuntu 9.04 has. Also had to install pommed manually to get the keys lit up. Got a lot of good tips from here: http://www.derekhildreth.com/blog/fe...inum-51-guide/

I followed the same guide. It's still fresh and I haven't time to work on the pomed stuff. The trackpad works, but is over sensitive sometimes. When I'm typing it will just click to another spot, and yes, I have disabled trackpad while typing. Doesn't seem to do anything.
The big annoyance I have now is the video driver. When I unplug my external monitor, it doesn't recognize that and so I can't see anything that was on that monitor. And since I use it as the default, I can't even get to the menus... still working on that one.
