I would like to offer a dual-boot tip

If you buy new laptop, you can find disk-management of Vista (mine 64 bit).
Right click the c partition. Choose shrink volume.

Then you can get a piece of free disk space. so no additional partition tools needed.

Wow! That is neat! I went through the Vista menu for disk management, I did not know you could just right click the volume!

The Microsoft guys I think are very good at hiding useful things.
