I got this message after a update some weeks ago and am now on a permissive opening. Could somebody help me ; I am a beginner.

Open a terminal and type (as root)

yum remove kmod-nvidia-2.6.27.21-170.2.56.fc10.x86_64-180.51-1.fc10.1.x86_64 kmod-nvidia-2.6.27.24-170.2.68.fc10.x86_64-180.51-1.fc10.5.x86_64 kmod-nvidia-2.6.27.25-170.2.72.fc10.x86_64-180.51-1.fc10.8.x86_64

This will remove all these nvidia drivers that refer to older kernels.

I copied your line on nvidia as normal user but nothing happened and I got the same error frequenses again. As I could erase the nvidia drivers I put them out...
What else ? I got 104 bugs waiting for me.

You need to be root to make operations with yum.
Open a terminal, type "su" <enter> and type your root password. This will make next commands issued as root user. Now type

yum list installed kernel* kmod-nvidia*

and post here the result.
