gnome theme manager - uninstall theme

running gnome 2.6

i installed a new theme (through gnome theme manager) like have done before. now, the theme manager is messing up. when it loads the thumbnails of the themes, several of the themes no longer have thumbnails like before and most just show up as white space with no name or as i scroll the previous thumbnails kind of stay behind. if i click 'theme details', none of the tabs, buttons or details show up.

is there any way to uninstall the theme that most likely caused this problem? or revert back to the default themes from fc2?

Go to your .themes directory in home and remove the offending theme...................??? Just a guess on my part.

good suggestions...but didnt work. removed the theme, rebooted, and it still doesnt work right.
