Hrrm, I would try with a different distribution temporarily, just to make sure that everything is working properly. Although, when you come to unetbootin, usually, you hit enter, and then, in theory, it should boot. (Actually, it should give a choice, default and a few other things, but highlighting default with the arrow keys and hitting enter should work.)
