Recently I upgraded my laptop from Fedora 11 to Fedora 12 and ever since then I've been unable to connect to my WPA2 Enterprise network. I've tried creating new client and server keys in .pem, and .p12 formats, but neither has worked. And I can connect fine wirelessly with a Fedora 11 box.
On the laptop, when I use NetworkManager to connect, if I supply the private key in .pem format, "connect" will remain greyed out even after entering the correct private key password. And if I use .p12 format I can click "connect" after entering the password, but will never connect.
I'm using eap type tls with a FreeRadius server.
I was wondering if I had encountered a Fedora 12 bug, or if I was just doing something wrong.
Thanks!
Edit: Well, I subscribed to the NetworkManager mailing list and it has recently been reported as a bug. It seems to affect NetworkManager-0.7.996-6 and up. If anyone knows of a fix for this problem please let me know, otherwise I'll keep reading the daily digest.
However, if anyone depends on WPA Enterprise as their principle network, I'd stay away from Fedora 12 or upgrading NetworkManager.
