Exclamation WiFi Problesm Dell 1737

Hi everyone, I am very green to this whole Linux/Fedora thing. I installed Fedora 12 without a glitch, but it seemingly doesn't recognize my wireless card. I believe it is a driver problem and have tried to install the correct driver from Broadcom numerous times with No Luck.

I then tried to install kmod-wl via the yum install kmod-wl command, but here is my error message.
Quote:
[root@localhost cfehr]# yum update
Loaded plugins: presto, refresh-packagekit
Repository atrpms is listed more than once in the configuration
Setting up Update Process
No Packages marked for Update
[root@localhost cameronfehr]# yum install kmod-wl
Loaded plugins: presto, refresh-packagekit
Repository atrpms is listed more than once in the configuration
Setting up Install Process
No package kmod-wl available.
Nothing to do
[root@localhost cfehr]#
Here is also the lspci and lsusb command results also
Quote:
[root@localhost cameronfehr]# lspci -nn | grep -i -e network -e wireless:

I would appreciate any help in this. I am a total greenhorn at this though.

Hello cjfehr,

That Broadcom chipset is well-known to work with the broadcom-wl driver that you attempted to install. However, it is maintained in the RPM Fusion repos. I recommend that you install the RPM fusion repos and disable ATrpms. Then it will install. Here is a thread with the details...

Thank You ever so much for attaching that link. I have tried to find one like it, but had yet to find one. Thanks again. I have gotten the wireless working. I figured out that I had forgotten to install the nonfree RPM Fusion repository. It then found the kmod-wl driver and installed it without a hitch. After rebooting, the wireless now works. Thanks a million.
