Reinstall Telnet Service Modules on FC 2.0???

I installed Fedora Core 2.0 successfully on my computer. However, I did not select Telnet and FTP services during the installation. How do I reinstall those service modules?

Thank you,
Jim

You can always use yum
Code:
yum install telnet telnet-server vsftpd
or which ever telnet and ftp server you like. You should also read that entire site.

Correct me if I am wrong. Isn't the default telnet and ftp servers insecure for use?

You are absolutely right. I should jxchecg what he wanted with telnet. The alternative to replacment for telnet is ssh and sshd (the server).
Code:
yum install openssh-server openssh-askpass openssh-askpass-gnome openssh openssh-clients
The only disadvantage ssh has is that windows doesn't have it installed by default, but one can easily install it.

The vsftd I mention above is the default and is secure. It uses the sftp protocol which is similar to https.

For anyone interested, http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty - extremely flexible, configurable, and remembers session settings as well. About the only thing you cannot do is "X," since there's no X server on the Windows box (by default).

i would really suggest you to use SSH instead of telnet, very unsecure.
