KDE + Compiz + Cairo Dock

Hi there

I recently installed cairo dock (mmm, eye candy) on KDE. It works perfectly. However, using kWin, I get a black area around the dock. I did some reading, and found I needed compiz. So I enabled compiz, and the black became transparent. The only problem was, my window decorations are gone. The only way to get them back is to run 'compiz' from the terminal, although running 'emerald --replace' worked yesterday too, but the performance was poor. What have I missed out/done wrong/whatever, and how do I fix it? I'm not new to linux, but I'm new to KDE, and it's all a little overwhelming

I'm using Fedora 12 x86_64, with KDE 4.3.4, and an intel graphics chip (GMA 4500HD). I see the mesa driver is being used too. Any chance of changing to the hardware accelerated version? (is this the problem maybe?)

Many thanks
Joe

Booted this morning, it took:

Emerald --replace
compiz

to get window borders. Is now working perfectly...
