Plymouth work at shut down but not at boot

Hi,

I have Fedora (12 plus some rawhide, but mostly 12 because I am not up to date) with the Nouveau driver. I tried to switch to the solar plymouth theme, but I only see the ASCII progress bar at boot. But when I shut down, it work nicely. Why?

(I have updated to initrd and menu.lst)

try these 2 things -- remove plymouth and reinstall it (i did it through kpackagekit)

and try this as root in a terminal: yum install plymouth-theme-charge
plymouth-set-default-theme charge
/usr/libexec/plymouth/plymouth-update-initrd

and then logoff and reboot
