Hello friend,
I got a new laptop, HP G60-519WM. It has come with window7 64-bit and the specification are as follow: Intel Celeron Processor 900 Provides 2.2GHz speed, an 800MB frontside bus, and 1MB L2 cache, 3GB of DDR2 system memory, 250GB SATA hard drive, 5400 rpm, 15.6" diagonal BrightView widescreen display Presents 1366 x 768 resolution (WXGA)
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M (shared) with up to 1309MB of total available graphics memory.
Last night I have installed fedora 7 and it has shown installation successful. As I have rebooted the display is not coming and showing some error message saying that in last 90 seconds it restarted the dispay for 6 time and some thing going wrong. Also waited for 2minutes and retried and restarting the display. The display is black and showing only the cross cursor.
Friends kindly let me know whether my laptops processor and graphic media will support linux or not? If yes please help me to solve my problem.
