problem with my ATI radeon card!

hi
i just installed fedora12 on my machine,But it didn't recognize to my graphic card!!
my ATI card type is radeon 9550
any help?

Wird deine Karte noch unterstützt von ATI.
Hast du mal unter www.ATI.com nach Treibern gesucht.
Habe dort für meine Readon 3450 noch einen Treiber unter Linux bekommen.
Leider weiss ich aber nicht wie ich Ihn instalieren soll.

So what happens when you boot it? Are you at a text login screen or a window screen?

If you are at a black screen, try pressing ctrl-alt-f2 to get to a text login, login as root and try a system update with:

yum update

After updating, reboot the system:

shutdown -r now

I have the question about ATi X1300.My fedora12 can not recognize it so that my xorg.conf only have sentence like this:
Section "Device"
Identifier "Videocard0"
Driver "vesa"
EndSection

how can I do?The 1280X1024 killing me!
