Create bootable Fedora USB on Mac

Greetings!
Heres the problem, I have a iMac G5 and an eeepc 1000 netbook, and I would like install Fedora 12/13 on it. I have downloaded the Fedora-12-DVD.iso, now that .iso is on my Mac, and I would like to create a bootable usb(8GB) on Mac using the iso file. I did find a few instructions on how to do this in Mac OS X (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/In...s#Mac%20OS%20X) however, they were concerned with .img files. If I am to expand the iso file I can see several .img files in the img folder and a few in other folder, which do I choose? The obvious choice seemed to be install.iso but it was only 166MB so I thought the whole system could not, possibly be fitted into such a file.
Please help!

You should be able to burn the .iso to the CD/DVD from OS-X without a problem.
Don't try to expand the file or burn the contents. Just do it as a whole file.

Re: Create bootable Fedora USB on Mac

Thanks Steve! Although my problem is that my net-book doesn't have an optical drive. Therefore, I must use a usb drive to install Fedora 12 on it. The problem is I do not know how to make a bootable flash drive on Mac. All i really want to do is put Fedora 12 on the usb drive, plug it in my net-book, boot from it and install the OS.

Re: Create bootable Fedora USB on Mac

I think you will probably have to borrow/steal/buy a USB CD/DVD drive unless you have a friend who can create the USB key for you.
Why?
The lack of a LiveCD spin for F12/PPC.
