Intel video screen flickering

I have a laptop with an Intel 950 (iirc) integrated graphics card. Using F13 I happen to encounter screen flickering. The screen is lcd, and the flicker looks almost like water ripples across the screen. So far, only F13 has this issue (Ubuntu is fine).

Anyone know what could cause this?

Code:
lspci | grep VGA

VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller

Re: Intel video screen flickering

You may add:
i915.powersave=0
to the GRUB at boot time as kernel boot option, so it will work only ones. I was suggested many times about it, but it did not help me, may be it will help you.

What parameters "modinfo" shows for your video driver?

modinfo [driver here]

e.g.:

Code:
$ modinfo nvidia

You can also try these boot parameters:

skipddc

skipddc

This command skips the ddc monitor probe which causes problems on some systems.
nofb
