unable to read /etc/mail/access

Hi,

I'm following step by step tutorial to setup a sendmail mta, i came across configuring /etc/mail/access file... when i tried to open it with vim it showed me some junk text, then i tried opening it with nano, the prb was same... has anyone come across with a similar prb like this.... how to sort it out, shall i create a new accesss file... then how wod i map it access.db .....

I think the file was hashed... well can anyone tell can we write this way in /etc/mail/access file:

192.168.0.0/25 RELAY (As i'm havin subnetting in my network)

What is your Fedora version? The file /etc/mail/access is a normal text file on my system (F13 Gnome). Anyways, this document may help:

Fedora 13, i think the file was hashed by default i jus recreated it, n then used makemap -c /etc/mail/access.db < /etc/mail/access.
