Re: Tutorial for installing adobe flash

I just used Dangermouse's AutoTen: http://dnmouse.org/forum/viewtopic.p...2cbc2a4574a185

Re: Tutorial for installing adobe flash

Bob,
hope things are good south of the border. I dont recognize the site you sent me. dont really know what codec is, and i'm concerned about the whole autoten thing. I was accustomed to fedorasolved tutorials. Are you sure this one will install adobe flash?
thanks

Re: Tutorial for installing adobe flash

Related reading here. Autoten is like a script on steroids that installs all sorts of third-party stuff that the Fedora Project won't touch, like the stuff on the "Forbidden Items" page. It's trustable and lots of folks around here use it. Yes, Autoten will install Adobe Flash.

And a codec is, well, a codec. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codec
The most common codec people notice "lacking" from Fedora is mp3; Autoten can help you in that department too.

Re: Tutorial for installing adobe flash

Thanks everyone for the input. I actually installed it using the tutorial on fedoraproject.org/wiki/flash

probably will need autoten for the mp3 stuff.
