No video when both monitors connected?

Hi

I cannot run video (VLC or Movie Player) when I have an external monitor connected. I have the sound, but the video does not show up (black rectangle all the time where the video should be played).

Video player WITHOUT the monitor connected works fine. Also, the monitor itself works as well (as second desktop)

I have F13 on MacBook2,1 . Any ideas?
