Re: GreenOS (A Fedora Spin)

Hi Dangermouse

You should call it a Fedora Remix. A spin is a official variant, hosted in http://spins.fedoraproject.org. Informal community variants are called remixes instead.

Re: GreenOS (A Fedora remix)

Hi

I checked the kickstart file and it just has a listing of packages, how are you doing all the rebranding and other changes?

I rebuilt generic-logos/release,fedora-bookmarks, backgrounds, ffmpeg rpms etc.., but the kickstart (what you mean)was generated from the live dvd as i wanted to show all the installed packages/deps and doesnt include the gconftool commands etc...

Guess i should make that available too
