Add/Remove Software--No list of installed packages

Hi,

I am new to fedora and using fedora 13 after migrating from Ubuntu.

In Add/Remove Software, I am not getting the list of installed packages as it does in Synaptic under Ubuntu.

It is displaying an error about no internet connection and unable to fetch package lists.
Is it necessary to have an internet connection to show the list of installed applications. ( I don't have an internet connection").
I know using 'yum', one can get the list of installed packages.

But I want the list to be displayed in Add/Remove Software.

I do not think that it is possible to list them without a internet connection in the GUI.

You could try,

rpm -qa | sort > installed-packages

Then view the file installed-packages.
