wimax 6250 help needed...

i have a dell inspirion netbook with embedded wimax 6250 modem. ran lsusb and its there, but i am lacking the driver (i guess) to get connected. i have been working at it for about 3 hours now and while there is a bunch of information out there, what i have found is intimidating. i have been using linux os only for about 10 months, so i am still new to open source. any "child like" guidance would be greatly appreciated. running fedora 14

Kind regards,
beau
